Hout Bay’s Community Crime Prevention receives welcome financial contribution
A community safety project in Hout Bay has welcomed a cash donation which they say will help finance the important work they do in the area.
Community Crime Prevention (CCP) is a Non-Profit Company established by a group of concerned residents already working in social crime prevention and response in Hout Bay. They received a monthly donation of R15 000 earlier this month from ADT Security.
“Our vision is of a Hout Bay where all our residents feel safe enough to enjoy their lives without the constant threat of crime and violence,” says JJ De Villiers, Operations Manager for CCP. “Financial contributions are of course always welcomed, and we appeal to all Hout Bay residents to join our R100 per month appeal, visit www.ccphoutbay.co.za for more information on how you can help and what we’re achieving, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.”
ADT’s District Manager (Cape Town South) Mr Jade Hanning echoed the call on the people of Hout Bay to support the CCP. “It is only when concerned residents join forces with local security companies and the men and women of the SAPS that we can hope to drive crime out of our suburbs.”
